Prayer for the Diocese

In Time of Need

Father of Love and Mercy, we come before you ever grateful for the gifts of Faith, Hope and Love.
Yet our hearts are heavy as we face the continued precarious financial state of our Diocese.
Grant us renewed hope in your mercy and kindness.

Jesus, Lord and Savior, we give you thanks and praise for revealing to us the Father's Love!
We have heard you say "Come to me you who are heavily burdened and I will give you rest."
We dare come, Oh Lord, to ask you to help us in this time of need.

Most Holy Spirit, praise and glory to you who confirms us in the Love and Mercy of the Father.
Grant us the means of finding a solution to our critical financial need, that we may assure
the life and growth of our parishes and schools; that we may be able to reach out
ever more generously to our sisters and brothers in need, at home and around the world.
We give thanks for all who have come forth to help the diocese financially
and ask for your blessings on one and all.

Blessed Mother, through the power of the Holy Spirit, form us in the image of your Son.
Teach us to trust Him in all things and never lose sight of your Son's Presence.

St. Andrew, Patron of our Diocese, intercede for us.
